If you want to get close to nature, a tent pitch at Vorupør Camping is the obvious choice. Fall asleep beneath a starry sky to the sound of the North Sea’s waves and wake up to the fresh sea breeze. Here, you’ll experience true outdoor living by the coast, with all the necessary facilities just a short distance away. This makes your tent holiday both comfortable and authentic.
We have dedicated tent areas where you can pitch your tent and find peace surrounded by dunes. From the tent pitches, it’s only a short distance to both the toilet and shower facilities, so you won’t have far to go if you need a hot shower, want to cook in our shared kitchen, or wash and dry your clothes.
An amazing view
On the campsite we have two areas, C and D dedicated to tents. The area is placed high on the campground and from here there is a fantastic view of the North Sea and the beautiful landscape.
The tents are exposed to wind due to the altitude of the tent area, so it is recommended to set up a tent of a good quality.
It is also possible to book one of the regular pitches for tents.
Spending the night in a tent gives you plenty of opportunities to enjoy nearby sights and activities without worrying about logistics and transport. You can start the day with a dip in the sea or a morning walk in the dunes. If you’re up for a water adventure, Vorupør is at the heart of Cold Hawaii, where you can try your hand at surfing or paddleboarding. Afterwards, you can explore the local culture in town, where small shops, cafés, and eateries offer everything from ice cream cones to freshly caught fish.
